amend
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
to
Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta
effective November _ 15;, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to
Readopt
and
Reconfirm
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have
been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as
authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Constitution of the State of Georgia " by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1(One-family
Residence)

to
affecting property. located on the northwest corner of
the intersection of Hickman Road and Kings Way; and for
the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for
other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1 (One-family
Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property
as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the northwest corner of
the intersection of Hickman Road and Kings Way; thence,
in a northwesterly direction along the northeast right-
of-way line of Kings Way a distance of 329 feet, more
or less, to a point located where the, southeast right-
of-way line' of Meigs Street intersects the northeast
right-of-way line of Kings Way; thence, in a
northeasterly direction along the southeast right -of-
way line of Kings Way a distance of 195.8 feet to a
point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance
of 164.54 feet to a point; thence, in a southwesterly
direction a distance of 98 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, in southeasterly direction a distance of
165.05 feet to a point located on the northwest right-
of-way line of Hickman Road; thence, in a southwesterly
direction along the northwest right-of-way line of
Hickman Road a distance of 100.0 feet to the point of
beginning. This property consists of four (4) tax
parcels consisting of a total of 1.12 acres known as
2101-2115 Kings Way.

SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
