Ordinance
to
Comprehensive
Zoning
amend
the
Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County and the City Council 'of Augusta
effective November 15, 1983-, entitled "An Ordinance to
Readopt
and
Reconfirm
Comprehensive
Zoning
the
Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board Qf
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have
been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as
authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Consti tution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensi ve Zoning Map from' Zone R-MH (Manufactured

Home Residential) to ZoneR-1 (One-family Residence)
affecting property located on the northeast right -of-
way, line of Seago Road, 1,070 feet, more or less, north
of the northeast corner of the intersection of Ascot
Road and Seago Road; and for the repeal of ordinances
in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above,
is amended

Zone
R-MH
(Manufactured Home Residential) to Zone R-1 (One-family Residence)
affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the northeast right-of-
way line of Seago Road, 1,070 feet, more or less, north
of the northeast corner of the intersection of Ascot
Road and Seago Road; thence, in a northerly direction
along the northep.st right-of -way line of Seago Road a
distance of 25 feet, more or less, to a point; thence,
in a northeasterly direction' a distance of 822 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, S 21017 '37" E a
distance' of 834.01 feet to a point; thence, S 73019'31"
W a distance of 261 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of
765.18 feet to a point; thence, in a southwesterly
direction a distance of 585 feet, more or less, to'the
point of beginning. This property contains
approximately 5.0 acres.

SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
