Ordinance
Zoning
amend
the
Comprehensive
to
Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta
effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to
Readopt
Comprehensive
Zoning
and
Reconfirm
the
Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have
been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as
authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to
Zone LI (Light Industry) affecting property located 371
feet, more or less, south of the south right-of-way
line of Tobacco Road, and also being 811.47 feet west
of the
southwest corner of the intersection of the
Central of Georgia Railroad right -of -way and Tobacco
Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict
herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which lS set out above, lS amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture)
to Zone LI (Light Industry) affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located 371 feet, more or less,
south of the south right-of-way line of Tobacco Road,
and also being 811.47 feet west of the southwest corner
of the intersection of the Central of Georgia Railroad
right-of-way and Tobacco Road; thence, N 76011'50" E a
distance of 340.98 feet to a point; thence, N 76011'58"
E a distance of 99.99 feet to a point; thence, N
76010'49" E a distance of 99.98 feet to a point;
thence, S 13013'41" E a distance of 250.12 feet to a.
point; thence, S 76011'50" W a distance of 536.76 feet
to a point; thence, N 14012'36" W a distance of 250.01
feet to the point of beginning. This property contains
approximately 3.0 acres.

SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances In conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
