An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family Residence) and Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the north right-of-way line of Deans Bridge Road, 1,254 feet, more or less, west of the northwest corner of the intersection of Georgetown Drive and Deans Bridge Road; and for the repea~ of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One- family Residence) and Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way line of Deans Bridge Road, 1,254 feet, more or less, west of the northwest corner of the intersection of Georgetown Drive and Deans Bridge Road; thence, in a westerly direction along the north right-of-way line of Deans Bridge Road a distance of 450 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 2516 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 970 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 450 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 405 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 313 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 170 feet, more ,- , . or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 270 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 449 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 875 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 250 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 300 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 43 acres. SECTION I I . All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 19th day of Octobcr , 1999.
