HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6209 BRASVWELL ROAD Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: D - ,qqg -19d01 DOCUMENT TYPE: ()(C)\fYl\\t~ YEAR: C\q BOX NUMBER: 08 FILE NUMBER: \ L\L\DU2 NUMBER OF PAGES: c9 ,. - ORDINANCE NO. 6209 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Consti tution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone LI (Light Industry) to Zone A (Agriculture) affecting property located on the southwest right-of-way line of Braswell Road, 2,185 feet northwest of the northwest corner of the intersection of Highway 88 and Braswell Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, lS amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone LI (Light Industry) to Zone A (Agriculture) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the southwest right-of- way line of Braswell Road, 2,185 feet northwest of the northwest corner of the intersection of Highway 88 and Braswell Road; thence, S 72042'06" W a distance of 299.62 feet to a point; thence, S 37057'10" W a distance of 34.2 feet to a point; thence, S 03015'46" W a distance of 219.98 feet to a point; thence, S 48015'46" W a distance of 34.16 feet to a point; thence, S 02036'59" W a distance of 166.57 feet to a point; thence, S 02020'42" W a distance of 886.78 feet to a point; thence, S 69020'42" W a distance of 886.78 feet to a point; thence, S 71048'32" W a distance of 483.87 feet to a point; thence, N 02000"01" E a distance of 744.23 feet to a point; thence, S 88015'55" E a distance of 1,275.10 feet to a point; thence, N 03015'46" E a distance of 175.19 feet to a point; thence, 5.19 feet to a point; thence, N 03006' 43" E a distance of 32.06 feet to a point; thence, N 72042' 06" E a distance of 353.25 feet to a point located on the ,-. . .. .. southwest right-of-way line of Braswell Road; thence, in a southerly direction along the southwest right-of- way line of Braswell Road a distance of 30 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 14.96 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 4005 Braswell Road. SECTION I I. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 19tn day of October , 1999.
