HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6205 MILLEDGEVILLE ROAD Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: O-\OAC\ -l9dDS DOCUMENT TYPE: t)'(ct\mnce..-- YEAR:~q BOX NUMBER: OD FILE NUMBER: \ l\l\(;b) NUMBER OF PAGES: o:J ! ,- ORDINANCE NO '6205 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-3C (Multiple- family Residence) and Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the southeast right-of-way line of Milledgeville Road, 175.0 feet east of the southeast corner of the intersection of Kratha Drive and Milledgeville Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-3C (Multiple- family Residence) and Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of- way line of Milledgeville Road, 175.0 feet east of the southeast corner of the intersection of Kratha Drive and Milledgeville Road; thence, in an easterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Milledgeville Road a distance of 175 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 525 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 105 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 45 feet, more or less, to a point located on the east right-of-way line of Allbright Lane (Private); thence, in a northwesterly direction across Allbright Lane a distance of 60 feet, ~ ~ more or less, to a point located on the west right-of- way line of Allbright Lane; thence, in a northerly direction along the west right-of-way line of Allbright Lane a distance of 445 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains 1.78 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 2310 Milledgeville Road. SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this October 19th day of , 1999. day of , 1999.
