HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6203 BARNES ROAD Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: 0 - \0f1L1- G?dO~ DOCUMENTTYPE:()(c\\\Y}\\~~ YEAR: Cf4 BOX NUMBER: 'D8 FILE NUMBER: \L\L\dO NUMBER OF PAGES: o.? \ ~ " " ORDINANCE NO. 6203 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the southwest right-of- way line of Olive Road, 188.0 feet northwest of a point where the northwest right-of -way line of Barnes Road intersects the southwest right-of-way line of Olive Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day 'of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One- family Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the southwest right-of- way line of Olive Road, 188.0 feet northwest of a point where the northwest right-of-way line of Barnes Road intersects the southwest right-of-way line of Olive Road; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 200.0 feet to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 90.0 feet to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 200.0 feet to a point located on the southwest right-of-way line of Olive Road; thence, in a southeasterly direction along the southwest right-of-way line of Olive Road a distance of 90.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains .41 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 2061 Olive Road. " -; r 'j'" SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 19rn day of October , 1999.
