ORDINANCE TO PROCEED WITH DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF THE
STRUCTURES ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 819 NINTH STREET (REAR
BYILDING), 1319 HOLLEY STREET, 1305 FLORENCE STREET, 308 SIMS
AVENUE, 330 SIMS AVENUE, 3504 BUCKNER DRIVE, 1456 REYNOLDS
STREET,
TO REPEAL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION
AND IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE AUTHORITY OF SAME AS FOLLOWS:
Section l. That the following residential properties have been identified by the Director
ofthe Augusta - Richmond County License and Inspection Department as unfit for
human habitation (or unfit for its current commercial or business use) and the cost of
repair, alteration or improvement of each of said properties exceeds one-half the value of
each property and that the said Director shall cause the structures located on hereinafter
described properties to be demolished and removed; and that said Director shall cause
the costs of such removal and demolition for each respective property be entered upon the
lien docket maintained in the office of Clerk of Augusta - Richmond County
Commission and said Director shall otherwise proceed to effectuate the purpose of
O.c.G,A, SS 41-2-7 through 41-2-17 with respect to said properties, to-wit:
819 NINTH STREET (REAR BUILDING), Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia,
identified on Augusta - Richmond County Tax Map 46-4 as Parcel 118.
1319 HOLLEY STREET, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on Augusta-
Richmond County Tax Map 46-3 as Parcel 176.
1305 FLORENCE STREET, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on
Augusta - Richmond County Tax Map 46-3 as Parcel 392.
308 SIMS A VENUE, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on Augusta -
Richmond County Tax Map 87-3 as Parcel 69.
330 SIMS AVENUE, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on Augusta-
Richmond County Tax Map 87-3 as Parcel 59.
3504 BUCKNER DRIVE, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on Augusta
- Richmond County Tax Map 118 as Parcel 350,
1456 REYNOLDS STREET, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on
Augusta - Richmond County Tax Map 36-1 as Parcel 58,
