Ordinance
to
amend
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County and the ,City Council of Augusta
effective November 15, 1983, entitle~' "An Ordinance to
Readopt
and
Reconf'irm
the ,Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted March, 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have
been approved by either t.he Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as
authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the
Constitution of the State' of Georgia II by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R---IC (One-family
Residence) to Zone R-MH (Manufactured Home Residential)

affecting property located on the northeast corner of
the intersection of Nixon Road and Knox Avenue; and for
the repeal of ordi~ances in conflict herewith and for
other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is setout above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IC (One-
family Residence) to Zone R-MH (Manufactured Home Residential)
affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the northeast corner of
the intersection of Nixon Road and Knox Avenue; thence,
in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-
of-way line of Knox Avenue 'a distance of 150.0 feet to
a point; thence,in a - southeasterly direction a
distance of 50.0 feet to a point; thence, in a
southwesterly direction a distance of 161. 48 feet to a
point located on, the northeast right-of-way line of
Nixon Road; thence, in a northwesterly direction along
the northeast right-of-way line of ~ixon Road a
distance of 51.3 feet to the point of beginning. This
property contains .18 acres and is known under the
pr~sent numbering system as 1737 Nixon Road.

SECTION II.
That this am~nd~ent to the Comprehensive Zoning Map
is subject to the following 'stipulation:

There shall be only one mobile home on this property.
SECTION III.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict

with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
