Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta
effective November 15,' 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to
Readopt
Reconfirm
Comprehensive
Zoning
and
the
Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of' Richmond County and the City Council

of Augusta, together with all amendments which have
been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as
authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the
Consti tution of the State of Georgia" ,by changing the
Comprehensive Zoriing Map from Zone A (Agriculture) and
Zone R-l (One-family Residence) to Zone B-2 (General
Business) affecting property located on the southeast
right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road, 780 feet, more
or less,
the
centerlfne of

willis Foreman Road extended intersects the /southeast
right-of-way line of p'each Orchard Road; and for the
repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORpAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners' .of Richmond County on the 15th day, of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Compre~ensive"ZoningMap from Zone A (Agriculture)
and Zone R-l (One-family Residence) to Zone B-2 (General Business)
affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the southeast 'right-of-
way line of Peach Orchard Road, 780 feet, more or less,
south of a point where the centerline of Willis.. Foreman
Road extended intersects the southeast right-of-way
line of Peach Orchard Road; thence, in a southeasterly
direction a distance of. 900 feet, more or less, to a
point i thence, thence in a southwesterly direction a
distance of 995 feet, more or less, to a point located
on the. southeast, right-of-way line of Peach Orchard
Road; thence, in a ,northerly direction along the
southeast right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road a
distance of 4 70 feet , more or less, to the point of
beginning. This property contains 4.61 acres.

SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance-are hereby repealed.
