Ordinance
to
amend
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of.
Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta
effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to
Readopt
and
Reconfirm
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have
been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as
authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the
Consti tution of the State of Georgia 11 by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R~IA (One-family
Residence) to Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residence)
affecting property located on the south right -of -way
line of White Road, 583.59 feet east of the southeast
corner of the intersection of Kissingbower Road and
White Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in
conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-
family Residence)
to Zone B-2
(General Business)
affecting
property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the south right-of-way
line of White Road, 583~59 feet east of the southeast
corner of the intersection of Kissingbower Road and
White Road; thence, N 79054'17" E along the south
right-of-way line of' White Road a distance of' 134.21
feet to a point; thence, S 04046'00" E a distance of
735.00 feet to a .point; thence, N 79009'43" W a
distance of 103.40 feet to' a point; thence, N 04045'53"
W a distance of 497.64 feet to a point;' thence, S
80010'20" W a distance of 33.87 feet to a . point;
thence, N 04051'32" .W a distance of 200.07 feet to the
point of beginning. This property contains 1.79 acres
and is known under the present numbering system as 2274
White Road.

SECTION II.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
