Zoning
amend
the
Comprehensive
to
Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta
effecti ve November i5, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to
Readopt
Comprehensive
Zoning
and
Reconfirm
the
Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have
been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as
authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the
Const'i tution of the State of Georgia 11 by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning 'Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to
Zone B-2 {General Business) affecting property located
where the southwest right -of -way line of Wrightsboro
Road intersects with the northeast right-of-way line of
Jimmy Dyess Parkway ,(Belair Road Extension); and for
the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for
- other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of ,Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture)
to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located where the southwest right-'
of-way line of Wrightsboro Road intersects with the
northeast right-of-way line of Jimmy Dyess Parkway
(Belair Road Extension); thence, N 47017'54" E a
distance of ,64.37 feet to a point; thence, in a
southeasterly direction along the southwest right -of-
way line of Wrightsboro ,Road a distance of 234.97 feet
to a point; thence,-S 46025'01" W a distance of 51.56
feet to a point; thence, S _65031'15" W a distance of
199.24 feet to a point Qocated on the northeast right-
of-way line of Jimmy, Dyess Parkway; thence, N 11030'4111
W along the northeast right-of-way line of Jimmy Dyess
Parkway a distanc,e' of 184,.78 feet to the, point of
beginning. This property contains .74 acres.

SECTION II.
All' Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
