HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6185 WILSON STREET Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: 0- \C1Qg- (9,'85 DOCUMENT TYPE: ()yci\\(A~~ YEAR:LB BOX NUMBER: D't' FILE NUMBER: \ l{3'6~ NUMBER OF PAGES: 0::) i~ /' ~... , 't", ~. f.:"~" ~ ,';'\ " ORDINANCE NO. 6185 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners 'of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled IIAn Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Consti tution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1C (One-family to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the north right-of-way line of Central Avenue, 50.0 feet west of the northwest corner of the intersection of Wilson Street and Central Avenue; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption" of which is set out above, is amended by ,changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1C (One- family Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way line of Central Avenue, 50.0 feet west of the northwest corner of the intersection of wilson Street and Central Avenue; thence, in a'westerly direction along the north right-of-way line of "Central Avenue a distance of 50.0 feet to a point; thence, in. a northerly direction a distance of 150.0 feet to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 50.0 feet to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 150.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains. .17 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 1863 Central Avenue~ - ~ 7,"' , .-J, ..,r'~~'..J-:, .. " " , " SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject to the following stipulation: 1. That there-shall be a site plan showing rear yard parking, provision for a forward exit onto Central Avenue, and no parking in the front yard approved and developed before a Certificate of Occupancy is issuedj and 2. Signage shall conform to Section 25-B of the Zoning Ordinance. SECTION I I I. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
