ORDINANCE NO. 6181
ORDINANCE TO PROCEED WITH DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF THE
STRUCTURES ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 905 ROBIN LANE, 907 ROBIN
LANE, 911 ROBIN LANE, 1440 FOREST STREET, 1429 MlLL STREET, 137-139
McELMURRAY DRIVE, AND 2069 GOLDEN ROD STREET.
TO REPEAL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION
AND IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE AUTHORITY OF SAME AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. That the following residential properties have been identified by the Director
of the Augusta - Richmond County License and Inspection Department as unfit for
human habitation (or unfit for its current commercial or business use) and the cost of
repair, alteration or improvement of each of said properties exceeds one-half the value of
each property and that the said Director shall cause the structures located on hereinafter
described properties to be demolished and removed; and that said Director shall cause
the costs of such removal and demolition for each respective property be entered upon the
lien docket maintained in the office of Clerk of Augusta - Richmond County
Commission and said Director shall otherwise proceed to effectuate the purpose of
O.c.G.A. SS 41-2-7 through 41-2-17 with respect to said properties, to-wit:
905 Robin Lane, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on Augusta -
Richmond County Tax Map 59-2 as Parcel 798.
907 Robin Lane, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on Augusta-
Richmond County Tax Map 59-2 as Parcel 799.
911 Robin Lane, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on Augusta -
Richmond County Tax Map 59-2 as Parcel 80 I.
1440 Forest Street, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on Augusta-
Richmond County Tax Map 59-1 as Parcel 424.
1429 Mill Street, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on Augusta -
Richmond County Tax Map 59-1 as Parcel 380.
137-139 McElmurray Drive, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on
Augusta - Richmond County Tax Map 61-2 as Parcel 177.
2069 Golden Rod Street, Augusta - Richmond County, Georgia, identified on Augusta -
Richmond County Tax Map 87-4 as Parcel 74.
Section n. This Ordinance shall become effective upon adoption.
