HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6171 EMMET STREET Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: 0 - q q - (Q 11 , DOCUMENT TYPE: 0 (Z,"'Q \ I\) A- NC,G YEAR: I qqg BOX NUMBER '7 JL/?Lfr FILE NUMBER: NUMBER OF PAGES: ~ .~ ;t ORDINANCE NO. 6171 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning map from Zone R-2 (Two-family Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the west right-of-way line of Emmett Street, 40.35 feet north of the northwest comer of the intersection of Cleveland Street and Emmett Street; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-2 (Two-family Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the west right-of-way line of Emmett Street, 40.35 feet north of the northwest comer of the intersection of Cleveland Street and Emmett Street; thence, N 80021'09" W a distance of 115.00 to a point; thence, N 06'14'40" E a distance of 92 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, S 81032'50" E a distance of 115.00 feet to a point located on the west right-of-way line of Emmett Street; thence, S 09008'50" W along the west right-of-way line of Emmett Street a distance of 92 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains .24 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 805 and 807 Emmett Street. .. , SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 15th of TlInp , 1999. ,1999.
