HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6150 WRIGHTSBORO ROAD Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: 0 -Ci q - Co IS-D DOCUMENT TYPE: 0 <Z. \) \ '(\J A ~ u3 YEAR: l~C1~ BOX NUMBER: "1 FILE NUMBER: 1 Lf J Y Y NUMBER OF PAGES: d- ... , , :: ORDINANCE NO. n 1 "i0 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning map from Zone R-3A (Multiple-family Residential), Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residential) and Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the northeast right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road, 1,250 feet, more or less, southeast of the northeast corner of the intersection of Maddox Drive and Wrightsboro Road; and for the repeal of ordinances 111 conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-3A (Multiple-family Residential), Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residential) and Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road, 1,250 feet, more or less, southeast of the northeast corner of the intersection of Maddox Drive and Wrightsboro Road; thence, N 34033'42" E a distance of 403.69 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 2,020 feet,/' more or less, to a point; thence, N 74021 '36" E a distance of 882.01 feet to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 2,855.34 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 830 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 340.86 feet to a point; thence, S 52047'35" W a distance of 183.47 feet to a point located on the northeast right-of- way line of Wrightsboro Road; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the northeast right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road a distance of 427 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 59 acres. '. . SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject to the following stipulation: That the ultimate use generally conform to the preliminary concept plan submitted for the retirement community or the zoning of the property reverts to the previous configuration. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances III conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this ?()rn of April ,1999. ,1999.
