Ordinance
to
amend
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta
effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to
Readopt
and
Reconfirm
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have
been approved by ei ther the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as
authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the
Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map by modifying the conditions
placed on the
earl ier rezoning
to HI
(Z-92-25)
affecting property located on the southwest right-of-
way line of Doris Road, 100.0 feet northwest of the
northwest corner of the intersection of Tudor Drive and
Doris Road; and for the repeal of ordinances In
conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive zoning Map by modifying the
conditions place on the HI
(Z-92-25) affecting property as
follows:
Beginning at a point located on the southwest right-or-way line of Doris
Road, 100.00 feet northwest of the northwest corner of the intersection of
Tudor Drive and Doris Road; thence, S 65000'00" W a distance of 300.00
feet to a point; thence, N 45000'00" W a distance of 90.00 feet to a point;
thence, N 65000'00" E a distance of 300.00 feet to a point located on the
southwest right-of-way line of Doris Road; thence, S 45000'00" E along
the southwest right-of-way line of Doris Road a distance of 90.00 feet to
the point of beginning. This property contains 1.01 acres and is known
under the present numbering system as 2037 Doris Road.

SECTION II.
That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance lS subject to the following stipulations:
1. That the present welding shop and operation not be
permitted to expand;
2. That a solid fence six (6) feet in height be placed
around the building within 90 days of the date of
adoption of this resolution;
3. That all materials shall be stored inside the building;
4. That the welding shop shall operate between the hours
of 8:00 A.M. and 8:30 P.M., Monday through Saturday;
5. That this property shall be used solely for a welding
shop and if such use ceases, the property shall revert
to R-lA (One-family Residence) zoning; and
6. That the owner shall agree to these conditions in
writing and same shall be recorded with the Clerk of
Superior Court of Richmond County.
SECTION III.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
