An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and
the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983,
entitled

Comprehens i ve Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, .1963, by the

Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been
approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the
Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the State of
Georgian by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map by modifying
the stipulations placed on the 1987 (Z-87-27) rezoning to B-2
(General Business)
affecting property located where the
centerline of Skinner Mill Road extended intersects the
northeast right-of-way line of Boy Scout Road; and for the
repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board
of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983,
the caption of which lS set out above, is amended by changing the
Comprehensive zoni~g Map by modifying the stipulations placed on the
1987 (Z-87-27) rezoning to B-2 (General Business) affecting property as
follows:
Beginning at a point located where the centerline of Skinner Mill Road
extended intersects the northeast right-of-way line of Boy Scout Road;
thence, in a northerly direction along the northeast right-of-way line of
Boy Scout Road a distance of 177.82 feet to a point: thence, in an easterly
direction a distance of 312.95 feet to a point; thence, in a southeasterly
direction a distance of 91 0 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
westerly direction a distance of 124 feet, more or less, to a point located
on the northeast right-of-way line of Boy Scout Road; thence, in a
northerly direction along the northeast right-of-way line of Boy Scout
Road a distance of 77 4 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This
property contains 4.44 acres.

, That. this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is
subject to the following stipulation:
1) That the egress and ingress be approved by Traffic
Engineering and that any costs of public improvements
that are necessary shall be paid by the developer; and
2) That the future development of this property shall
substantially conform to the Site Plan submitted.
SECTION I I I.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
