An' Ordinance
to
amend
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta
effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to
Readopt
and
Reconfirm
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have
been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as
authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the
Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to
Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located
where the centerline of willis Foreman Road extended
intersects the southeast right-of-way line of Peach
Orchard Road; and for the repeal of ordinances In
conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by ch?nging the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture)
to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located where the centerline of
Willis Foreman Road extended intersects the southeast
right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road; thence, in a
northerly direction along the southeast right-of-way
line of Peach Orchard Road a distance of 749 feet, more
or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a
distance of 931 feet, more or less, to a point located
on the centerline of an unnamed tributary of Spirit
Creek; thence, ..in ~.,~, southerly direction along the
centerline of an unnamed tributary of Spirit Creek a
distance of 800 feet, more or less, to a point; thence,
in a westerly direction a distance of 974 feet, more or
less, to a point located on the southeast right-of-way
line of Peach Orchard Road; thence, in a northerly
direction along the southeast right-of-way line of
Peach Orchard Road a distance of 105 feet, more or
less, to the point of beginning. this, property
contains 19.40 acres.

SECTION I I.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
