An
Ordinance
to
amend
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta
effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to
Readopt
and
Reconfirm
the
Comprehensive
Zoning
Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta, together with all amendments which have.
been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of
Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as
authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the
Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to
Zone R-MH (Manufactured Home Residential) affecting

property located where the centerline of Elbow Branch
Road (private) intersects with the southeast right-of-
way line of the Gordon Highway; and for the repeal of
ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture)
to Zone R-MH (Manufactured Home Residential) affecting property as
follows:
Beginning at a point located where the centerline of
Elbow Branch Road (private) intersects with the
southeast right-of-way line of the Gordon Highway;
thence, N 07030'31" W a distance of 269.71 feet to a
point; thence, N 56038'09" W a distance of 349.19 feet
to a point; thence, S 63013' 19" W a distance of 173.05
feet to a point; thence, N 53050'27' W a distance of
491.89 feet to a point; thence, N 11036'46" E a distance
of 143.72 feet to a point; thence, N 16023'27 W a
distance of 94.78 feet to a point; thence, N 32023'24" W
a distance of 382.63 feet to a point; thence, S
65024'18" E a distance of 159.62 feet to a point;
thence, S 17017'01" W a distance of 135.87 feet to a
point; thence, S 03024' 38" E a distance of 134.55 feet
to a point; thence, S 14014'54" E a distance of 160.31
feet to a point; thence, S 42005' 29" E a distance of
155.60 feet to a point; thence, S 67031'55" E a distance

of 196.46 feet to a point; thence, S 03009'49" W a
distance of 193.21 to a point; thence, S 16043'37" W a
distance of 146.13 feet to a point; thence, S 040229'42"

26021'15" W a distance of 240.57 feet to a point;
thence, N 34015' 33" E a distance of 196.12 feet to a
point; thence, N 27017'26" E a distance of 126.06 feet
to a point; thence, N 23040'21" E a distance of 196.80
feet to a point; thence, S 66019' 39" E a distance of
79.06 feet to a point; thence, N 12040'53" W a distance
of 837.36 feet to a point located on the southeast
right -of -way line of the Gordon Highway; thence, in a
northeasterly direction along the southeast right -of-
way of the Gordon Highway a distance of 923.46 feet to
the point of beginning. This property contains 50.465
acres.
SECTION II.
That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map
is subject to the following stipulation:
That the petitioner shall conform to the plan submitted
except for changes as required by the U. S. Department
of the Army, Georgia Department of Natural Resources,
or Augusta Richmond County.
SECTION III.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
