ORDINANCE TO PROCEED WITH DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF THE
STRUCTURES ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1242-1242 1Iz -1244 HOLLEY
STREET, 1252 HOLLEY STREET, 1226 FLORENCE STREET, 1017 CEDAR
STREET, 2506 PORTER STREET, 223 WATKINS STREET, 431 FAlRHOPE
STREET, (DISTRICT 1, SUPER DISTRICT 9); 2549 - 2551 DOVER STREET,
2550 - 2552 DOVER STREET, 2573 - 2573 1Iz DOVER STREET, 2575 DOVER
STREET, AND 2549 -2551 MILES STREET; TO REPEAL CONFLICTING
ORDINANCES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE AUGUST A-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION
AND IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE AUTHORITY OF SAME AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. That the following residential properties have been identified by the Director
pf the Augusta - Richmond County License and Inspection Department as unfit for
human habitation (or unfit for its current commercial or business use) and the cost of
repair, alteration or improvement of each of said properties exceeds one-half the value of
,each property and that the said Director shall cause the structures located on hereinafter
described properties to be demolished and removed; and that said Director shall cause
the costs of such removal and demo I ition for each respective property be entered upon the
lien docket maintained in the office of Clerk of Augusta - Richmond County
Commission and said Director .shall otherwise proceed to effectuate the purpose of
O,c.G,A. SS 41-2-7 through 41-2.;.17 with respect to said properties, to-wit:
