Il'~ DOCUMENT TYPE: O~ 'b \ N A NeG YEAR: 1 qq<6 BOX NUMBER: lk> FILE NUMBER: 1 ~qlo~ NUMBER OF PAGES: ~ ~l...r ~~ " r ..:~:j,,~ .- ,..;i-1 .'- -' \...,..,: ;'^' ''':c\':;\', .- "7' ORDINANCE NO. 0//1 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled 1lAn Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensi ve Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgiall by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family Residence), Zone R-3A (Multiple-family Residence), Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residence) and Zone R-MH (Manufactured Home Residential) to Zone R-1A (One-family Residence) affecting property located at the centerline of Glenn Hills Drive, being approximately 375 feet east I ;f of the intersection of the centerlines of Glen Hills Drive and Breeze Hill' Drive; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of COl)lmissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family Residence), Zone R-3A (Multiple-family Residence), Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residence) and Zone R-MH (Manufactured Home l f! Residential) to Zone R-1A (One-family Residence) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located at the centerline of Glenn Hills Drive, being approximately 375 feet east of the intersection of the centerlines of Glen Hills Drive and Breeze Hill Drive; thence, in a southeast direction a distance of 81 feet, more or less, to a point; thenc~, in an easterly direction a distance of 1820 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 360 feet, more to less, to a point; thence, in a northwest direction a distance of 650 feet, more or less, to a point located at the centerline of Glenn Hills zDrive; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 680 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly 'f .;,~ '~ ~~.. -- , ., '; 7" T 'i .'" r -:-- direction a distance of 249 feet, more or less, to a point; thence in a northerly direction a distance of 123 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 407 feet to a point; thence, in a northeast direction a distance of 240 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwest direction a distance of 130 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwest direction a distance of 780 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a' -~distance of 2240 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwest direction a distance of 830 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeast direction a distance of 650 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeast direction a distance of 675 feet, more or less, to the centerline of Glenn Hills Drive; thence, in an easterly direction along the centerline of Glenn Hills Drive to the point of beginning. SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this /r't:l1 day of ()~ , 1998.
