An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled IlAn Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of
the Constitution of the State of Georgiall by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to
Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located
where the new southwest right-of-way line of Wrightsboro
Road intersects the new northwest right-of-way line.of
Powell Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict

herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture)
to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows:

Beginning at a point located where the new southwest
right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road intersects the new
northwest right-of-way line of Powell Road; thence, in a
southwesterly direction along the new northwest right -of-
way line of Powell Road a distance of 93.50 feet to a
point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Old
Wrightsboro Road (former Wrightsboro Road right-of-way) i
thence, in a northwesterly direction along the northeast
right-of-way line of Old Wrightsboro Road a distance of
446 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
northeasterly direction a distance of 229 feet, more or
less, to a point located on the southwest right-of-way
line of Wrightsboro Road; thence, in a southeasterly
direction along the southwest right-of-way line of
Wrightsboro Road a distance of 148.56 feet to a point;
thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 27
feet, more or less, to a point located on the southwest
right -of -way I ine of Wrightsboro Road; thence, in a
southeasterly direction along the southwest right-of~way
line of Wrightsboro Road a distance of 271 feet, more or
less, to the point of beginning. This property is also
known as Tax Map 39, Parcels 2.1 and 3.2 and contains
1.69 acres.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
