An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
, adopted by the Board of commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensi ve Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family
. Residence) to Zone R-MH (Manu~actured Home Residential)
affecting property located on the southeast right-of-way

line of Byron Place, 750 feet, more or less, northeast of
a point where the northeast right-of-way line of
Meadowbrook Drive intersects the southeast right-of-way
line of Byron Place; and for the repeal of ordinances in
conflict herewith and for other, purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family
Residence) to Zone R-MH (Manufactured Home Residential) affecting
property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of-
way line of Byron Place, 750 feet, more or less;
northeast of a point where the northeast right-of-way
line of Meadowbrook Drive intersects the southeast right-
of-way line of Byron Place; thence, in a northeasterly
direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Byron
Place a distance of 100.0 feet to a point; thence, in a
southeasterly direction a ~istance of 400.0 feet to a
point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of
100.0 feet to a point; thence, in a northwesterly
direction a distance of 400.0 feet to the point of
beginning. This property contains. 92 acres and is known
under the present numbering system as 3524 Byron Place.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
