l~n Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
J.983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
t:he Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments

t:he Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family
Residence) to Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residence)
a.ffecting property located on the west right-of-way line
of Alexander Drive, 450 feet, more or less, north of the
northwest corner of the intersection of Commons Trace and
Alexander Drive; and for the repeal of ordinances in
conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family
Residence) to Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residence) affecting
property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the west right-of-way
line of Alexander Drive, 450 feet, more or less, north of
the northwest corner of the intersection of Commons Trace
and Alexander Drive; thence, in a westerly direction a
distance of 1,203 feet, more or less, to a point; thence,
in a northerly direction a distance of 513 feet, more or
, less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a
distance of 200 feet, more or less, to a point; thence,
in an easterly direction a distance of 637 feet, more or
less, to a point located on the west right-of-way line of
Alexander Drive; thence, in a southerly direction along
the west right-of-way line of Alexander Drive a distance
of 890 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
This property contains 16.78 acres.

SEC'!'ION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
