HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6088 DOUG BARNARD PARKWAY Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: Q rd,"ronce UO't~ DOCUMENT TYPE: 0 V d J'nancc YEAR: Jt1q<f - BOX NUMBER: ~ FILE NUMBER: J 3 ?3D ~ NUMBER OF PAGES: r ,/" ORDINANc. _ 608~ l~n Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the city Council of Augusta effective November 15, J.983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensi ve Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the city Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone LI (Light Industry) affecting property located on the northwest right-of-way line of Doug Barnard Parkway, 437 feet, more or less, south of the southwest corner of the intersection of Nixon Road and Doug Barnard Parkway; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of NovembHr, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to ZonH LI (Light Industry) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the northwest right-of- way line of Doug Barnard Parkway, 437 feet, more or less, south of the southwest corner of the intersection of Ni.xon Road and Doug Barnard Parkway; thence, in a southerly direction along the northwest right-of-way line of Doug Barnard Parkway a distance of 67.27 feet to a pc,int; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 171.98 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 82.0 feet to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 171 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains .28 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 1555 Doug Barnard Parkway. -"- ,&.. r; 6)~t " --... '--. ~T " SECTION II.
