" i ORDINANCE 6081 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the city Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map by modifying a condition placed on the 1986 rezoning to a B-2 (General Business) classification affecting property located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Broad street and Milledge Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond county on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone a waiver of the condition placed on the 1986 rezoning to a B-2 (General Business) ~ classification to Zone affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Broad Street and Milledge Road; thence, in an easterly direction along the southwest right-of-way line of Broad street a distance of 154.0 feet to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 161.0 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 178 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Milledge Road; thence, in a northerly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Milledge Road a distance of 184.0 feet to the point of beginn~ng. This property contains .62 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 2176 Broad street. , . ;. ~ .... ,1 SECTI<ON II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject to the following stipulation: 'rhat the use of the property be limited to an auto car 'wash and detailing operation or those uses allowed in a B-1 (Neighborhood Business) Zone. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this ~ day of OcJ-~ , 1998.
