.~ Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
.the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
'city Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
'which have been approved by either the Board of
.commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
.~ugusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of
'the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to
Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located
where the centerline of Gracewood Cemetery Road extended
.intersects the northwest right-of-way line of Peach
Orchard Road (U. S. Hwy. #25); and for the repeal of
ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture)
to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located where the cen.terline of
Gracewood Cemetery Road extended intersects thH northwest
right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road (U. S. Hwy. #25);
1:hence, in a westerly direction a distance of 400.0 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly
direction a distance of 730 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of
400.0 feet to a point located on the northwest right-of-
uay line of Peach Orchard Road; thence, in a
southwesterly direction along the northwest right-of-way
line of Peach Orchard Road a distance of 608 feet, more
or less, to the point of beginning. This property
contains approximately 6 acres and is a portion of the
front of 3651 Peach Orchard Road.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
