HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6083 WRIGHTSBORO RD Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: 0 YO/ (ranee CcO?!:3 DOCUMENT TYPE: 0 rdl'nancc YEAR: IC1OJ7 -- BOX NUMBER: 0 FILE NUMBER: / '3 'S' '1- 4 NUMBER OF PAGES: :3 ".' . .: .1 ORDINANCE NO.~ An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehens i ve Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of commissioners of Richmond County or the city Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule pr()visions of the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-2 (Two-family Residence) to Zone P-1 (Professional) affecting property located on the south right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road, 117 feet, more or less, east of the southeast corner of the intersection of Spring street and 'Wrightsboro Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinanc4~ adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-2 (Two-family Residence) to Zone P-1 (Professional) affecting property as follmvs: Beginning at a point located on the south right-of-way line of Wrightsboro Road, 117 feet, more or less, east of .the southeast corner of the intersection of Spring Street and Wrightsboro Road; thence, in an easterly direction along the south right-of-way lien of Wrightsboro Road a distance of 50.0 feet to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 200.0 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 50.0 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of :wo.o feet to the point of beginning. This property contains .23 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 1838 Wrightsboro Road. ~ ,..,; .. SECTION II. That this amendment of,the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject to the following stipulations: 1) That the existing residential structure be adapted without a drastic change of appearance; 2) Vehicle parking be in the rear yard except for one (1) handicapped space in the front yard; 3) A new driveway on the northeast side of the property shall be constructed; and 4) That conditions 1-3 shall be complied with before a certificate of Occupancy is approved. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
