HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6081 WELLS DR Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: 0 rei "nonce Coo?? / DOCUMENT TYPE: 0 vd {mnee YEAR: I L1q? -- BOX NUMBER: :J FILE NUMBER: I '3 ~l2 NUMBER OF PAGES: ~ t ., /".., ~ i' , ORDINANCE NO. && flt An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-2 (Two-family Residence) to Zone P-1 (Professional) affecting property located on the northeast corner of the intersection of 'Wells Drive and Lumpkin Road; and for the repeal of <ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of Novem:ber, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-2 (Two-family Residence) to Zone P-1 (Professional) affecting property as follolws: Beginning at a point located on the northeast corner of t.he intersection of Wells Drive and Lumpkin Road; thence, in a northerly direction along the east right-Of-way line of Wells Drive a distance of 115 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 100 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 55 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 430 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 150 feet, more or less, to a point located on the north right-Of-way line of Lumpkin Road; thence, in a westerly direction along 1:he north right-Of-way line of Lumpkin Road a distance of !)85 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This l>roperty contains approximately 2 acres. / ~. I ~ .. t' (, SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subje.c to the following stipulation: That a off-street parking and ingress/egress plan including, at a minimum, shared driveways and improved parking in rear yards be approved by the Planning commission Staff prior to the issuance of a certificate of Occupancy for a non-residential use of this property. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
