l~n Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
1:he Board of commissioners of Richmond County and the
City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
l~ugusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of
1:he Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-2 (General Business)
~dth Conditions to Zone R-1A (One-family Residence)
affecting property located on the northwest right-of-way
line of Deans Bridge Road, 400.0 feet northeast of a
point where the northeast right-of-way line of Jennings
]~oad intersects the northwest right-of-way line of Deans
Bridge Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict
herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-2 (General
Businl~ss) with Conditions to Zone R-1A (One-family Residence)
affec1:ing property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the northwest right-of-
~iay line of Deans Bridge Road, 400.0 feet northeast of a
point where the northeast right-of-way line of Jennings
Road intersects the northwest right-of-way line of Deans
Bridge Road; thence, in a northwesterly direction a
distance of 250.0 feet to a point; thence, in a
northeasterly direction a distance of 100.0 feet to a
point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of
~!50. 0 feet to a point located on the northwest right-of-
\iay line of Deans Bridge Road; thence, in a southwesterly
direction along the northwest right-of-way line of Deans
Bridge Road a distance of 100.0 feet to the point of
beginning. This property contains .57 acres and is known
under the present numbering system as 2749 Deans Bridge
Road.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
