An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the city Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond county and the
City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture), Zone
:R-3B (Multiple-family Residential) and Zone B-2 (General
Business) to Zone R-1 (One-family Residence) affecting
property located on the south right-Of-way line of willis
Foreman Road, 483 feet, more or less, east of a point

the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for
other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
Novemher, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by chatnging the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture),
Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residential) and Zone B-2 (General
BusinE~ss) to Zone R-l (One-family Residence) affecting property as
follo\l7s:
Beginning at a point located on the south right-Of-way
line of willis Foreman Road, 483 feet, more or less, east
elf a point where the centerline of Rose Hill Drive
intersection the south right-Of-way line of Willis
F'oreman Road; thence, S 83058' 06" E along the south
l:'ight-of-way line of willis Foreman Road a distance of
50.08 feet to a point; thence, S 05031'17" W a distance

thence, S 59000'56" W a distance of 773.78 feet to a
point; thence, S 37037'05" Wa distance of 674.42 feet to
a point; thence, N 05018' 30" E a distance of 1,025.22
feet to a point; thence, S 87018'14" W a distance of
479.70 feet to a point; thence, N 08031'00" E a distance
of 202 feet, more or less, to a point located on the east
right-of-way line of Rambling Rose Circle South (Dead
End); thence, in a northerly direction along the east
right-of-way line of Rambling Rose Circle South (Dead
End) a distance of 50.0 feet to a point; thence, N
08028'59" E a distance of 431 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, N 08031'49" E a distance of 763 feet, more
or less, to a point located on the east right-of-way line
of Rambling Rose Circle North (Dead End); thence, in a
northerly direction along the east right-of-way line of
,Rambling Road Circle North (Dead End) a distance of 50.0
feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a
distance of 140 feet, more or less, to a point; thence,
S 82033'32" E a distance of 175.78 feet to a point;
'thence, N 05029'30" E a distance of 206.78 feet to the
point of beginning. This property contains 58.71 acres.
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
