An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone P-1 (Professional) to
Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Busi~ess) affecting property
located on the northeast right-of-way line of Lumpkin
Court (a.k.a. Lumpkin Circle) 96 feet, more or less,
:north of the northeast corner of the intersection of
:Lumpkin Road and Lumpkin Court; and for the repeal of
IJrdinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone P-l
(Profl~ssional) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting
property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the northeast right-of-
..,ay line of Lumpkin Court (a.k. a. Lumpkin Circle) 96
j:eet, more or less, north of the northeast corner of the
intersection of Lumpkin Road and Lumpkin Court; thence,
in a northwesterly direction along the northea'st right-
of-way line of Lumpkin Court a distance of 56.0 feet to
a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of
100.8 feet to a point; thence, in an easterly direction
cl distance of 170.7 feet to a point; thence, in a
southerly direction a distance of 129.1 feet to a point;
thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 129.2
feet to the point of beginning. This property contains
.34 acres and is known under the present numbering system
a,s 2327 Lumpkin Court.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
