\ ,An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
"
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
'the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
1Nhich have been approved by either the Board of
commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
j~ugusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of
.the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-3B (Multiple-family
]~esidence) to Zone P-1 (Professional) affecting property
located on the east right-of-way line of Bertram Road,
120 feet, more or less, north of a point located where
1:he centerline of Center West Parkway extended intersects
1:he east right-of-way line of Bertram Road; and for the
repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by cha.nging the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-3B (Multiple-
family Residence) to Zone P-1(Professional) affecting property as
follows:
Beginning at a point located on the east right-of-way
],ine of Bertram Road, 120 feet, more or less, north of a
point located where the centerline of Center West Parkway
€:xtended intersects the east right-of-way line of Bertram
Road; thence, N 11049'02" E along the east right-of-way
line of Bertram Road a distance of 71.77 feet to a point;
thence, S 81048' 35" E a distance of 115.60 feet to a
point; thence, S 12004'41" W a distance of 72.49 feet to
a point; thence, N 81027'33" W a distance of 115.23 feet
to the point of beginning. This property contains .19
acres and is known under the present numbering system as
1058 Bertram Road.

SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is
subject to the following stipulation:
That a vehicle parking plan be approved by the Staff
before a certificate of Occupancy is issued for a non-
residential use of the property.
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
