HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6066 WALTON WAY Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: 0 vd (nancc LeOLPlp DOCUMENT TYPE: 0 rdirarcc YEAR: 10C17 --- BOX NUMBER: J FILE NUMBER: i 3151 NUMBER OF PAGES: Z- 'j ~ '\ , ' ORDINANCE NO. btJ G ~ An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments 'which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of ,Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the south right-of-way line of Walton 'Way, 175 feet, more or less, west of the southwest corner ,~f the intersection of Chafee Avenue and Walton Way; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the south right-of-way line of Walton Way, 175 feet, more or less, west of the :;outhwest corner of the intersection of Chafee Avenue and Walton Way; thence, S 42025'52" W a distance of 106.54 feet to a point located on the northwest right-of-way line of an unnamed Alley; thence, S 51026'51" E along the northwest right-of-way line of an unnamed Alley a distance of 153.82 feet to a point located on the northwest right-of-way line of Chafee Avenue; thence, S 38023'09" W along the northwest right-of-way line of Chafee Avenue a distance of 279.83 feet to a point; 1:hence, N 52044'37" W a distance of 224.22 feet to a point; thence, S 27038'39" W a distance of 8.00 feet to Cl point; thence, N 62021'21" W a distance of 118.00 feet to a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of 1100re Avenue; thence, in a northerly direction along the Boutheast right-of-way line of Moore Avenue a distance of :n8.48 feet to a point located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Walton Way and Moore Avenue; thence, S 89028'23" E along the south right-of-way line of Walton / J 1- .'r Way a distance of 391.83 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains 2.71 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 1556 Walton Way. SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject to the following stipulation: SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
