,~n Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehens i ve Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
city Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
'which have been approved by either the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
,~ugusta as authorized under the Horne Rule provisions of
'the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1B (One-family
:Residence) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting
property located on the northwest right-of-way line of
Crescent Drive, 467 feet, more or less, south of the
:southwest corner of the intersection of Wrightsboro Road
,and Crescent Drive; and for the repeal of ordinances in
conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
Novem:ber, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1B (One-family
Residence) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as
follo1(/s:
:Beginning at a point located on the northwest right-of-
lilay line of Crescent Drive, 467 feet, more or less, south
i;)f the southwest corner of the intersection of
lNrightsboro Road and Crescent Drive; thence, in a
:;outhwesterly direction along the northwest right-of-way
line of Crescent Drive a distance of 110 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a
distance of 380 feet, more or less, to a point; thence,
in a northerly direction a distance of 60 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a
distance of 135.0 feet to a point located on the east
right-of-way line of Barton Chapel Road; thence, in a
northerly direction along the east right-of-way line of
Barton Chapel Road a distance of 50.0 feet to a point;
'thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 135.0 feet
'to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance
of 345 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an
easterly direction a distance of 175.0 feet to the point
of beginning. This property contains .85 acres and is

known under the present numbering system as 1523 Crescent
Drive.
SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map
is subject to the following stipulation:
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
