,An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled IIAn Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City council of Augusta, together with all amendments
'which have been approved by either the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County or the city Council of
.~ugusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of
'the Constitution of the state of Georgiall by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-3B (Multiple-family
:Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting
:property located on the southeast right-of-way line of
Fourth street, 175.0 feet southwest of the southeast
corner of the intersection of Walton Way and Fourth
,street; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict
herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
Novemlber, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-3B (Multiple-
family Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting
property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of-
way line of Fourth street, 175.0 feet southwest of the
southeast corner of the intersection of Walton Way and
Fourth Street; thence, in a southeasterly direction a
distance of 130.0 feet to a point; thence, in a
::;outhwesterly direction a distance of 38.0 feet to a
point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of
130.0 feet to a point located on the southeast right-of-
,,,ay line of Fourth street; thence, in a northeasterly
direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Fourth
street a distance of 38.0 feet to the point of beginning.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
