YEAR: 10' q 0/ ,...- BOX NUMBER: ~ FILE NUMBER: 1 3'1 t5 { NUMBER OF PAGES: :J- '"" ORDINANCE NO. -'QJrzt( An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ord1nance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone HI (Heavy Industry) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located 'where the centerline of Skyview Drive extended intersects 'the southeast right-of-way line of Gordon Highway; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond county on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by ch.anging the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone HI (Heavy Indus1:ry) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follmils: Beginning at a point located where the centerline of skyview Drive extended intersects the southeast right-of- Tolay line of Gordon Highway; thence, in a northerly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Gordon Highway a distance of 249.54 feet to a point; thence, in ~ln easterly direction a distance of 137 feet, more or less, to a point located on the west side of Beaver Dam Ditch; thence, in a southerly direction along the west side of Beaver Dam Ditch a distance of 237.84 feet to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 170 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains .9 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 1234 Gordon Highway. ~ " ~ .~ SECTION II.
