ORDINANCE NO. bd S/ An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 19B3, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by tht~ Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the Ci1:y Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of cOI~issioners of Richmond County or the City Council of AU9usta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of thE! Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone R-MH (Manufactured Home Residential) affecting property located on the south right-of-way line of Boykin Road, 1,120 feet, more or less, west of the southwest corner of the intersection of Parkwood Drive and Boykiri Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of' Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone H-MH (Manufactured Horne Residential) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the south right-of-way line of Boykin Road, 1,120 feet, more or less, west of the southwest corner of the intersection of Parkwood Drive and Boykin Road; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 148.27 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 130.47 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 140 feet, more or less, to a point located on the south right-of- way line of Boykin Road; thence, in an easterly direction alon.g the south right-of-way line of Boykin Road a distance of 104.84 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains .39 acres and is known the present numbering system as 2360 Boykin Road. . . ' . ~ , ~ SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject to the following stipulation: That when the manufactured home that is currently located on the property is moved, the zoning of the property shall revert to Zone A (Agriculture). SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this If., day of - J~ -+~ , 1998.
