An Ordinance to amend the comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
ar~ the City council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Cc'mprehens i ve Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
th.e Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of
th.a Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to
Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residence) affecting property
located on the west right-of-way line of Mosley Road, 400
feE~t, more or less, north of the northwest corner of the
int:ersection of Piney Grove Road and Mosley Road; and for
the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for
other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture)
to Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residence) affecting property as
follows:
Beginning at a point located on the west right-of-way
linf~ of Mosley Road, 400 feet, more or less, north of the
nori:hwest corner of the intersection of Piney Grove Road
and Mosley Road; thence, N 78024'00" W a distance of
234..22 feet to a point; thence, N 11038'45" E a distance
of 299.77 feet to a point located on the south right-of-
way line of Mosley Road; thence, in a southeasterly
direction along the south (southwest) right-of-way line
of Mosley Road a distance of 476.86 feet to the point of
begi.nning. This property contains 1.50 acres and is
known under the present numbering system as 1015 Mosley
RoaCt.
SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is
subject to the following stipulation:
That the only business on this property shall be a group
personal care home; and that at such time as this use
shall cease, the zoning of the property shall revert to
Zone A (Agriculture).
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
