An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adl:>pted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
19:33, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
thl~ Board of commissioners of Richmond County and the
Ci1:y Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
cormissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
AU9usta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of
thE! Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to
Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on
the! north right-of-way line of Tobacco Road, 1,165 feet,
more or less, west of the northwest corner of the
intersection of Windsor Spring Road and Tobacco Road; and
for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for
other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture)
to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way
line of Tobacco Road, 1,165 feet, more or less, west of
the northwest corner of the intersection of Windsor
Spring Road and Tobacco Road; thence, in a westerly
direction along the north right-of-way line of Tobacco
Road a distance of 262.97 feet to a point; thence, N
600:26'42" E a distance of 510 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of
120 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, N 74059'58"
W a distance of 199.99 feet to a point; thence, S
140 !59' 42" W a distance of 199.97 feet to the point of
beginning. This property contains approximately 1.1

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
