An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adl:>pted by the Board of commissioners of Richmond county
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
19B3, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
thf~ Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
Ci1:y Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
Cormissioners of Richmond County or the city Council of
AU9usta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of
thE! Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1C (One-family
Residence) to Zone R-MH (Manufactured Home Residential)
affecting property located where the southeast right-of-
way line of Mira Mar Avenue intersects the northeast
rig'ht-of-way line of Carroll Road; and for the repeal of
ord.inances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1C (One-family
Residence) to Zone R-MH (Manufactured Home Residential) affecting
property as follows:
Beginning at a point located where the southeast right-
of-way line of Mira Mar Avenue intersects the northeast
right-of-way line of Carroll Road; thence, in a
northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way
line of Mira Mar Avenue a distance of 150.0 feet to a
point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of
150.0 feet to a point; thence, in a southwesterly
dirHction a distance of 150.0 feet to a point located on
the northeast right-of-way line of Carroll Road; thence,
in a northwesterly direction along the northeast right-
of-lvay line of Carroll Road a distance of 150.0 feet to
the point of beginning. This property contains .52 acres
and is known under the present numbering system as 207
and 209 Carroll Road.

SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is
subject to the following stipulation:
That all existing living units be removed before new
units are brought onto the property.
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
