An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Co:mprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
Ci'ty Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
Auqusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of
thl~ Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
COlnprehensi ve Zoning Map from Zone LI (Light Industry)
and Zone HI (Heavy Industry) to Zone HI (Heavy Industry)
affecting property located on the southeast corner of the
in1:ersection of Laney-Walker Boulevard Extension and
Hardy Court; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict
herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board 0:( Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by chanqing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone LI (Light
Industry) and Zone HI (Heavy Industry) to Zone HI (Heavy Industry)
affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the southeast corner of
the intersection of Laney-Walker Boulevard Extension and
Hardy Court; thence, S 74042'00" E along the south right-
of-'way line of Laney-Walker Boulevard Extension a
distance of 782.25 feet to a point; thence, S 22053'55"
W a distance of 524.61 feet to a point; thence, S
650:39'55" E a distance of 40.01 feet to a point; thence,
S 22053'55" W a distance of 354.35 feet to a point
located on the northeast right-Of-way of the Seaboard
Coastline Railroad line; thence, N 65055'34" W along the
nort.heast right-Of-way of the Seaboard Coastline Railroad
line a distance of 797.21 feet to a point located on the
sou1:heast right-Of-way line of Hardy Court; thence, N
210:31'00" E along the southeast right-Of-way line of
Hardy Court a distance of 760.39 feet to the point of
beginning. This property contains 14.75 acres and is
knmm under the present numbering system as 201-211
LanE~y-Walker Boulevard Extension.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
