.~n Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond county
and the City council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
'the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
'which have been approved by either the Board of
.commissioners of Richmond county or the City Council of
.~ugusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) and
Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-2 (General
Business) affecting property located on the west right-
IJf-way line of Mike Padgett Highway, 275 feet, more or
less, north of the northwest corner of the intersection
I,f Hephzibah-McBean Road and Mike Padgett Highway; and
:Cor the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for
c,ther purposes:
THE A1JGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by chcmging the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture)
and Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business)
affec1:ing property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the west right-of-way
line of Mike Padgett Highway, 275 feet, more or less,
north of the northwest corner of the intersection of
lIephzibah-McBean Road and Mike Padgett Highway; thence,
N 81015'47" W a distance of 199.84 feet to a point;
t:hence, S 12018'21" W a distance of 75.06 feet to a
point; thence, N 81020'33" W a distance of 240.42 feet to
a point; thence, N 12022'22" E a distance of 958.21 feet
t:o a point; thence, S 77019'30" E a distance of 438.60
feet to a point located on the west right-of-way line of
Ilike Padgett Highway; thence, S 12019' 39" W along the
\lest right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway a distance
of 852.59 feet to the point of beginning. This property
contains 9.16 acres.
