HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6035 EASTSIDE COURT Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: 0 yci\ 'f'O.Y\C..E LQ.O ~ L?; DOCUMENT TYPE: OV-c\, ("'\O-~ YEAR: \~C( BOX NUMBER: 5 FILE NUMBER: \ '3lDlo '3 NUMBER OF PAGES: . ;........- \ 'i' ~ '\ ORDINANCE NO. t,a3-r An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County i:lnd the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by 1:he Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments lihich have been approved by either' the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of J~ugusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of 1:he Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the north right-of-way line of I~astside Court, 160 feet, more or less, west of the northwest corner of the intersection of Peach Orchard Road and Eastside Court; and for the repeal of ordinances i.n conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTIC'N I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way line of Eastside Court, 160 feet, more or less, west-of the northwest corner of the intersection of Peach Orchard Road and Eastside Court; thence, in a westerly direction along the north right-of-way line of Eastside Court a distance of 70.0 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 207.2 feet to a point; thence, in a:n easterly direction a distance of 70.1 feet to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 208.7 feet tl::> the point of beginning. This property contains .33 al::res and is known under the present numbering system as 2101 Eastside Court. . :;;,.a.. " ;- SECTI()N II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subjel:::t to the following stipulation: ~['hat a six (6) foot privacy fence be erected to buffer -the adjacent home from the vehicle parking area before a certificate of Occupancy is issued for the proposed use. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict wi th 1:his Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this /97i1al day 01: 'lna.r ' 1998.
