An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
comprehens i ve Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City Council of AUgUsta,~Ogether with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
commissioners of Richmond County or the city Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1C (One-family
Residence) to Zone R-MH (Manufactured Home Residential)
affecting property located on the northeast right-of-way
line of Nixon Road, 150 feet, more or less, southeast of
the northeast corner of the intersection~of Old Savannah
Road and Nixon Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in
conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1C (One-family
Residence) to Zone R-MH (Manufactured Home Residential) affecting
property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the northeast right-of-
way line of Nixon Road, 150 feet, more or less, southeast
of the northeast corner of the intersection of Old
Savannah Road and Nixon Road; thence, in a northeasterly
direction a distance of 133 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of
,158 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a
southwesterly direction a distance of 122.35 feet to a
point located' on the northeast right-of-way line of Nixon
Road; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the
northeast right-of-way line of Nixon Road a distance of
116 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This
property contains .37 acres and is known under the
present numbering system as 1783-85 Nixon Road.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
