HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 6030 OLD LOUISVILLE RD Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: 0- \qq~- t.aD2{) DOCUMENT TYPE: 0\6. \ffi\\ce YEAR: q~ BOX NUMBER: Ol\ FILE NUMBER: \~d~ NUMBER OF PAGES: c;J ~ \:..~ -~ ~ :. :0- ~~ r-- ., r-; /" I \' ORDINANCE NO. iRDjo An Ordinance to amend the comprehensive zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the city Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family Residence) and Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the southeast right-of-way line of Old Louisville Road, 110 feet, more or less, southwest of the southeast corner of the intersection of Arbor Drive and Old Louisville-Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of w~ich is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family Residence) and Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of- way line of Old Louisville Road, 110 feet, more or less, southwest of the southeast corner of the intersection of Arbor Drive and Old Louisville Road; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 200.00 feet to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 100.00 feet to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 200.00 feet to a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Old Louisville Road; . thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Old Louisville Road a distance of 100.00 feet to the point of beginning. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject to the following stipulation: That the only use of this property as pfovided for under the general business classification shall be an insulation business with inside storage; and that at such time as this use shall cease, the zoning of the property shall revert to Zone R-1A and Zone B-1. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this ~/~3~ day of t2f~ , 1998.
