AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE ASSOCIATION OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF GEORGIA (ACCG) DEFINED
CONTRIBUTION PLAN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION and
it lS hereby ordained by authority of same as follows:
Section 1.
Augusta, Georgia, does hereby- establish a
retirement plan pursuant to the provisions of Section 401(a) of the
Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, as set forth in that certain
"Government Retirement Plan and Trust, Basic Plan Document", attached
hereto as Exhibit "A", and does further establish its retirement plan

as a Money Purchase Plan and Trust in the form presented by Pension
Service Company as set forth in the Government Retirement Plan and Trust
Numbered PO 2100 and the Adoption Agreement, attached hereto as Exhibit
"B" and incorporated herein by reference.
Sect ion 2.
Pension Service Company shall provide record
keeping and administrative services for said retirement plan.
Section 3.
Said Plan shall be afforded to all individuals
hired on a regular basis-by Augusta, Georgia,' on or after May I, 1998,
and all current employees of Augusta, Georgia, who are not currently
enrolled in or are a member of either a City of Augusta or Richmond
County Retirement Plan.
Section 4. Augusta, Georgia shall have the right to amend or
terminate said Plan as provided in the Plan documents.

Section 5.
All laws or ordinances or parts of laws or
ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Adopted this 3 day of /l&.et-H I 1998 I and this / f VI- day
