An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
'and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture), Zone
R-1A (One-family Residence), Zone B-1 (Neighborhood
Business) and Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-2
(General Business) affecting property located where the
southwest right-of-way line of 4J Meadowbrook Drive
intersects the northwest right-of-way line of Windsor
Spring Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict
herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture),
ZoneR-1A (One-family Residence), Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business)
and Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business)
affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located where the southwest right-
of-way line of Meadowbrook Drive intersects the northwest
right-of-way line of Windsor Spring Road; thence, in a
southwesterly direction along the northwest right-of-way
line of Windsor Spring Road a distance of 624 feet, more
or less, to a point located on the centerline of Butler
Creek; thence, in a westerly direction along the
centerline of Butler Creek a distance of 826 feet, more
or less, to a point; thence, N 45005'16" E a distance of
179.92 feet to a point; thence, S 44038'20" E a distance
of 140.02 feet to a point; thence, S 63051'58" E a
distance of 166.14 feet to a point; thence, N 85027'52"
E a distance of 152.48 feet to a point; thence, N
10019'05" E a distance of 127.83 feet to a point; thence,
N 71030'25" E a distance of 245.96 feet to a point;
thence, N 27025'48" E a distance of 288.00 feet to a

point located on the southwest right-of-way line of
Meadowbrook Drive; thence, in a southeasterly direction
along the southwest right-of-way line- of Meadowbrook
Drive a distance, of 406 fe~t, more or less, to the point
of beginning. This property contains 1.53 acres.
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
