An Ordinanc::e to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, enti1:led "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
city Council of Augusta, together with all amendments

which hav-e been approved by either the Board of
commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to
Zone R-1 (One-family Residence) affecting property
located on the southeast corner of the intersection of
Old Wayneslboro Road and Taylor Road; and for the repeal
of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. Thai: the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commi:3sioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which' is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture)
to Zone R-1 (Onel-family Residence) affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the southeast corner of
the intersHction of Old Waynesboro Road and Taylor Road;
thence, in an easterly direction along the southwest
right-Of-way line of Taylor Road a distance of 1,398.25
feet to a point; thence, S 24044'46" W a distance of
187.12 fee1: to a point; thence, S 66045'14" E a distance
of 178.85 feet to a point; thence, S 24044' 46" W a
distance of 945.00 feet to a point; thence, S 75014'46"
W a distance of 404.00 feet to a point; thence, N
61045'14"W a distance of 1,359.42 feet to a point
located on the southeast right-of-way line of Old
Waynesboro Road; thence, in a northeasterly direction
along the southeast right-Of-way line of Old Waynesboro
Road a distance of 1,287.18 feet to the point of
beginning. This property contains 48.62 acres.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
